My Vision

We need a comprehensive 10-year building plan in order to provide for the ever-increasing population and growth of Putnam County.
We need to enhance the budgeting process by improving communications with the County Commission so we can weather our tough economic challenges.
We should identify alternative funding for education that does not directly rely on property tax or suffer when there is a lull in sales tax revenue.
We should investigate alternative sources of fuel and new transportation models.
We must improve skills in technical sciences by evaluating STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) initiatives for all levels, K-12.
We need to establish a strong program of required physical education to assist our children in developing strong bodies and minds.
We should evaluate the pros and cons of other models – home schooling and private schools – and incorporate elements that will improve our public school system.
