My Qualifications

I was involved in management as a public official and member of the City of Baxter Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
I developed the Year-2000 Readiness Plan for the City of Baxter and participated in the budget process.
I am a member of the Finance Subcommittee for the Baxter Seminary/Upperman High School Alumni Association Board of Directors.
I am a lifetime member of The Honors Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
I hold a B.S. and M.S. in computer science from Tennessee Tech University.
I have taught in various capacities for 20 years and understand some of the challenges facing our teachers.
I have a son who will start school in 2008 and have a vested interest in improving our schools.
